Dr. Michelle Emerson-Lewis is the Coordinator of Virtual Degree Programs for the School of Criminal Justice. She has been teaching in the areas of criminal justice and sociology since 1999. She completed her degrees at Kennesaw State University (BS in Public & Social Services), Northeastern University (MS in Criminal Justice), and Georgia State University (PhD in Sociology). Her community work and research focuses on victims of crime, particularly violence against women issues. She is an avid supporter of service-learning and other experiential learning opportunities for students.
